The Half Moon Bay Triathlon is an annual event that has been taking place for over 10 years. It is an international sporting event that brings together athletes from around the globe to compete in a challenging competition. The event includes a triathlon, half-marathon, and 10K race. The course information for this year’s Half Moon Bay Triathlon 2023 consists of three sections swim, bike and run each with its own unique characteristics that challenge participants in different ways throughout their journey across Half Moon Bay State Beach on October 15th 2023.
The swim section starts at 8am with participants entering the ocean waters off of Half Moon Bay where they will cover 1.5K distance before exiting onto shore where they will transition into cycling mode for their next section of this triathlon adventure covering 40K on their bikes along the scenic coastal route until they reach their final destination at Pillar Point Harbor where they will disembark their bikes before starting their 10K run towards home base back at Seascape Beach Resort located within walking distance of Pillar Point Harbor..
